Bentley has finally showed its fastest and most luxurious Mulsanne Speed sedan.
The car is equipped with a 6.75-liter V8 bi-turbo engine. This is the same engine as in a standard sedan, but it has been finalized — intake system was upgraded as well as the timing, the combustion chamber and turbo system. These things added 25 horsepower to the power of the car and in total the output is 537 hp and 1,100 Nm.
8-speed automatic gearbox was reworked as well. 0–100 km/h acceleration takes 4.9 seconds and its top speed is 305 km/h.
The car has a «sport» mode, which makes the air suspension more rigid, changes the power assisted steering and the refuses the engine to work below 2000 rpm.
Mulsanne Speed got 21-inch wheels, “Speed” label and carbon covers. The Premiere of the car happened at the Paris Motor Show, and it will appear in the market already this winter.
