The Audi decided to create 300 hypercars.
VAG management decided to support the hypercar creation. A hypercar which will be able to compete LaFerrari and McLaren P1.
Auto Motor & Sport online edition has published the first teaser of the hypercar. However, it is looks like like a LeMans prototyper than a civilian car. The engineers took carbon-fiber monocoque as a basis and a chassis made of composite materials.
Audi R10 will be equipped with the 6Liters 10-cylindered twin-turbo engine producing 850 hp, which is installed on some Bentley models. Also a hybrid version of the car with around 1 000 hp of power will be prepared.
Exclusivity and speed will cost at least 1.2 million dollars.
