In the nearest future, Lexus plans to build a high-performance version of the company’s flagship GS sedan and give it an F badge.
Under the bonnet, the new model will carry a 5.0-litre V8 engine delivering 467 hp and 526 Nm of torque coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission. It will power its way to 100 km/h in less than 5 seconds, while its top speed will be over 270 km/h.
The F-series Lexus will feature a more aggressive body kit, twin tailpipes, wheels and tyres borrowed from the LFA sports car.
The company is sure that the high-performance sedan will become a serious rival to the BMW M5 and Mercedes E63 AMG. It remains unclear just when the new model could launch.
