The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 1 will be revealed at the Paris Motor Show. Two limited-edition Mercedes-Benz cars, offered for sales only in the first year of production, will be unveiled at the show: the AMG GT, we reported about earlier, and the C63 AMG.
Like the standard version, the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG is fitted with a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine delivering 510 hp and 700 Nm of torque. It powers its way to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. It features ceramic-composite brakes, an electronic rear locking differential, and a revised suspension.
Exterior changes include a carbon fibre spoiler and sill cladding inlays. The C63 AMG Edition 1 comes with red accents on radiator grille, mirrors caps, and 19-inch wheels. On the inside, the centre console is finished in carbon red pepper. The car features red seat belts, AMG Performance seats, special floor mats, and full upholstery finished in black Nappa leather with red contrast stitching.
In Europe, the sedan will go on sale in October with a €75,000 starting price. The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG will be available in sedan and wagon body styles.
