The Audi Q7 E-tron SUV will go on sale in 2015. In the meantime, it is undergoing testing at the Nürburgring, a German racing track. The car is likely to be powered by a 3.0-litre six-cylinder V-shaped twin-turbo-diesel mill coupled to an electric motor. The powertrain will be able to provide a combined output of 373 hp and 700 Nm of torque.

The SUV will consume 4L of fuel per 100 km, although the driving mode used at the Nordschleife would certainly require more frequent refills.

The car will come loaded with some exterior changes, though it’s too early to describe all of them. So far, the only visible transformations refer to the car’s wings, roof, radiator grille, and headlights. Those are rather sufficient changes so we may say that photographers sitting along the track have already done some good spying work.
