Facelifted Volkswagen Touareg will get a new engine delivering 262 horsepower. The car will go on sale no sooner than next spring. It will be fitted with a 3.0-litre diesel-powered V6 engine. The new model is expected to be rather fuel-efficient — it consumes only 6.6L per 100 km.
The upgraded Touareg will come with both diesel and petrol-powered engines that develop from 204 to 360 hp. By the way, all cars will be featuring a stop-start system and regenerative braking.
The Touareg is equipped with four cameras that offer total vision around the vehicle, blind spot monitors, and pre-crash accident-prep system. The car also features an adaptive cruise control, which now includes emergency braking.
