Mercedes-Benz plans to build 10 plug-in hybrid and electric models by 2017.
The first one to arrive is the S500 Plug-In Hybrid. It will go on sale this November. All the rest will come next like a machine-gun burst. The most important thing is that the company intends to produce C, E, and S-Class cars and off-road vehicles.
Mercedes-Benz wants to comply with all ecological standards and that is why it works hard on reducing CO2 emissions. E-Class, GLK, and GLE will all use hybrid powertrains together with the new GLC.
