Production of the 2015 Ford Mustang has officially got underway. For the last 50 years, the people in Flat Rock, Michigan have not heard anything louder than the launch of production lines ready to churn out the powerful new-generation Mustangs.
The models fitted with a 2.3-litre turbocharged EcoBoost engine delivering 310 hp or 5.0-litre V8 that produces 435 hp will be available for the European customers. On the US market, the car will also be offered with a 3.7-litre naturally aspirated V6 engine tuned to produce 300 hp. The new Mustangs intended for the European drivers will include an independent front and rear suspension.
European trim levels will be available on the Russian market as well. By the way, for the first time in its history, the Ford Mustang will feature a right-hand-drive variant as the company plans to sell the sports car in 120 countries across the globe.
