The 1954 Ferrari 375 MM Scaglietti Coupé won the Best of Show at the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
Jon Shirley found this Ferrari in 1995 in an underground garage in a Paris suburb. There is information only about 5 of these models at the moment and this one has survived many adventures in its lifetime.
Following an accident in 1955, it was not possible to restore the front part of the car’s body; however, most of the mechanical units were saved. Well, the car was converted into a coupé.
Jon Shirley had to put a lot of effort to restore the car but now it takes a well-deserved place at various automotive beauty contests. Under the bonnet, the supercar carries a 4.5-litre V12 delivering 330 hp. The coupé sprints to 100 km/h in 7 seconds.
By the way, for the first time in the event's 64-year history a Ferrari won the Best of Show at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
