Where there is a will there is a way. Fifty-two-year-old Mike Newman, who was born blind, set new land speed record of 323 km/h driving a Nissan GT-R.

In 2003, Mike Newman set his first record by sprinting to 232 km/h. After that, he hit 300 km/h behind the wheel of a Porsche 911 GT2 and was even able to break the speed of 150 km/h driving a powerboat. But he just can’t get enough, he decided to enjoy life to the full.

This time he had a Nissan GT-R at his disposal. On the track, he is guided by radio messages.

A representative from Guinness certified Mike’s record, which was averaged out over two runs in opposite directions.
