Bentley has introduced a diesel version of the public SUV Bentayga, which should become the fastest in the world.
Under the hood is Bentayga 435-horsepower 4-liter V8 supercharged triple (same as on the «charged» Audi SQ7). Regarding gasoline strong 608-W12, installed on a standard Bentayga, it is only 3 kg lighter diesel engine, including two supercharger turbine and power to compensate for delays in the low speed range. Compressor drives a 7-kilowatt electric motor, powered by a 48-volt system.
New overcomes the first hundred in 4.8 seconds (0.1 seconds faster than the Audi SQ7), while its top speed is limited at around 270 kilometers per hour (from Audi SQ7 — 250 km / h). The petrol version Bentayga accelerates to a hundred in 4.1 seconds and reaches makismalnaya speed 301 kilometers per hour.
European sales of diesel Bentley Bentayga will begin in January 2017.
