Well-known Italian design studio by Pininfarina, which now belongs to the Indian company Mahindra & Mahindra, has publicly announced its intention to run for a year in a series of hypercar working through a chemical reaction between hydrogen and oxygen.
However, the series will be very modest: on the strength of 10 copies and on public roads hypercar path is closed.
Obviously, he did not go away far from the recently presented concept H2 Speed, in which, by the way, used power structure of the prototype LMP2 category, acting in endurance racing.
In H2 Speed under the hood, two electric motors with a total capacity of more than 500 hp, and the energy supplied to them «hydrogen-oxygen» fuel cells. The first hundred car overcomes in 3.4 seconds and its top speed is limited to 300 km / h.
It must have similar characteristics and receive serial «racing car for the gentleman driver», which, according to the head of Pininfarina, Silvio Pietro, already lining up.
