BMW X3 pickup truck created by students

The students at Clemson University located in the United States have a different vision of the BMW than its manufacturer. That is why they have turned the X3 into a pickup truck.

A group of ambitious students under the supervision of the BMW experts made several elegant strokes to create a concept of the Deep Orange 4 pickup truck, although its exterior is closer to the X4 than the X3. The car has a different roofline, sloping towards the rear axle, removable rear window and a tailgate opened sideways. One would think, that’s all for the magic.

However, the students decided not to stop here. They developed a plan on how to produce 5,000 offroad sports pickup trucks, and shared their thoughts with the Bavarian manufacturer.

Just one small thing is lacking — all they need is $10 million. The German company plunged into a reverie… and continued watching the students work.
