DevBot — short for Development Bot (robot development). Its mission — to help participants understand the work of the control electronics Roborace (racing series for cars controlled by artificial intelligence).
Test trials were held on the track «Silverstone» behind closed doors, so it is nothing but a short announcement in which the rider is replaced by a robot.
Public premiere DevBot, dedicated to the pre-season tests Formula E, will be held August 24 at the track at Donington. Design trends belongs to Daniel Simon, author of futuristic vehicles for the film «Tron: Legacy» and «Oblivion».
Recall that in the current and upcoming seasons Roborace — race support this series. Among the creators of the robot race — the founder of the Russian company Yota of Russia and former Deputy Minister of Communications Denis Sverdlov.
