Honda have started working on the model, which should become a successor of the renowned S2000 roadster.
The car will be fitted with a hybrid powerplant delivering 365 hp. It will comprise a 2.0-litre petrol-powered turbocharged engine and, needless to say, an electric motor. The powerplant will be mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The premiere will feature a coupé body style and a rear-wheel drive layout.
According to company’s plans, the S2000 successor is expected to compete with the Japanese roadster Mazda MX-5.
