American entrepreneur Preston Henn has filed a lawsuit against the company Ferrari for refusing to sell him roadster LaFerrari Spider.
According to Autoweek, Mr. Henn — a former race car driver and owner of the «flea market»Swap Shop in Fort Lauderdale — received a polite but firm refusal to his request, wrote the head of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Alliance (FCA), Sergio Marchionne, attaching to the letter a check for one million dollars in the form of a deposit.

In his address to the court, Mr. Henn said that Ferrari is a fan for 60 years and during that time owned «several dozen Italian car brand.» Collection still exists today, it is presented in its Swap Shop. Among the exhibits — a unique coupe 275 GTB / C Speciale, which is perhaps the «most expensive car in the world.»
As Henn says, «third person» told him that Ferrari management recognized him «unworthy» to possess LaFerrari Spider. «Such a statement... puts in a disrespectful and mocking light among business colleagues, friends, and other members of the society», — stated in the lawsuit.
Recall Roadster Ferrari LaFerrari Spider debuted in early July. Under the hood of his 953-strong plant, which included a 6.3-liter 12-cylinder «aspirated» and 120-kilowatt electric motor unit with lithium-ion batteries. The engine is aggregated with a seven-step «robot» with two clutches.
Total produced 499 copies of coupe LaFerrari. Circulation roadster is not yet known, but it is known approximate price — about four million dollars.
