The racing weekend lasts, according to tradition, three days: Informal training runs (matsuri) on Thursday, official training and qualification on Friday and paired races, starting with the top-32 and to determine the winners on Saturday.
At this time, the participants had the record number of 41 pilot, and the net gain of the top 32 were not working. Is that because of the many car collisions with the famous concrete wall «Atronach» qualification is slightly delayed and the third attempt was postponed to Saturday morning. Unfortunately, some of the well-qualified but later damaged the cars, the pilots did not have time to restore them, and could not take part in paired races.
For example, the car of Alexander Sivertseva from the team «Garage 28», would not be able to restore even the most skilled mechanics — entered into the wall at a speed of about 100 km / h because of the broken steering Nissan 200SX suffered so severely that he had to intense body work. Fortunately, he escaped with bruises pilot, thanks to stringent safety requirements in the championship. A similar fate befell the same Maxim Sulimina, but William Ghukasyan, pitched his magnificent Mercedes W204, as everyone seemed very serious, was able with the help of the mechanics of the night to recover it and still go on the road. The team has worked so well that by the viewing grandstand was not obvious that this handsome yesterday with a deafening roar flew into the concrete. In accordance with the results of the qualification of pilots waiting for an interesting surprise — fate would have it, the Top-32, many were forced to compete with the representatives of their own teams: such a fate befell the riders from Team «Garage 28» Artur Melkumyan and Fedor Dzezhitsa representatives Tuning Factory Goodride Aimol Andrei and Alexei Pesegova Bobrovskikh, pilot Yokohama Ekaterina Sedykh and Sergey Kabargin representing team Evil Empire, and Andrey Bogdanov and Igor Belenky of Addinol Drift team.
The incredible heat and the duration of the event have done their job, the pilots apparently began to lose concentration and the number of accidents has continued to grow. Altogether during the stage of the «wall» was visited by 7 cars, most of which need major repairs. But this is the distinguishing feature of «Atronach» route, here you need to be 100% confident in the technique.
At the end of the pair of races I would like to mention the fight on the brink of the finals between Arkady Tsaregradtsevym and Eugene Satyukovym. Due to the highly controversial decision, the two judges twice received an equal number of points and the one-more-time, the races were already 3! But the audience was only on hand — such a drift you can watch endlessly.
A distinctive feature of the stage in Ryazan was the performance of the FMX riders FMX13 team led by the famous Alexei Kolesnikov. A huge trampoline and span 20 meters, combined with crazy motorcyclists forced their mouths open as the spectators and the pilots themselves — such tricks do not see every day!
