— Dmitry, how you can improve your time on this track compared to last season? Quite whether today's result? I heard that your mechanics were expecting a better time.
— Last year was not very successful exit. More revealing 2014, when I was able to show a lap time of 1: 41.5. It was my personal record. The whole team is happy with the result, it is 3.6 seconds faster than the previous personal record, but, as always, incidents on the track and the technical problems have not given realize 100% of the car features.
— Morning you do not particularly specified, and had to miss almost all of the workout. What was the reason?
— The day started with a failure PPC gear selection mechanism and lasted a long replacement practically to scoring tries. Leaving on qualifications, we found damage generator and shimming the wheel. In this state, it is not always able to take turns optimally, especially 1,3,9 turns. Thus, there is still a reserve, which improve the result achieved even in the current incomplete configuration.

— Dmitry, your ninth «Evo» with the motor from the «eight» and the cam box with sequential shifter has always attracted special attention to the track. Are you now satisfied with it all?
— The car has undergone many improvements since 2006, but the last two years did not make any changes to the power plant and main elements. We have come to a variant that suits us, and worked only with the reliability of components and assemblies. The last changes were made to the work of the suspension and aerodynamics. For this it was necessary to completely redo the car outside.
— Aerodynamics created from scratch? Or you have somebody kit as a basis?
— The basis of the world's leaders tried to take a time-ATTAC such as Tilton Evo, also inspired by the DTM cars and the «formulas». We got what we got. While the project is not completed. The plans to replace some suspension components more suitable (they did not have time to prepare for the season) and set up the machine, because we still go to the old suspension in test mode with the regulations «by eye».
— For you build time I have had a desire to drop everything and go to run-off?
— The desire to return to the state of stock car appeared about five years ago, but now no such desire, and is unlikely to have a full refund is possible. — Professional motorsport is for professionals, ie for people who go to work to work racer. I have the luxury to allow can not. I have a main place of work, and age is not the same. A boiling pot of supercars


Each year the amateur championship Maksim Travin series set records in Russian autodrome.
