Johnny Smith, a former leading British auto show «Fifth Gear», presented his project: electric Enfield 8000 model year 1974, driven by a quarter of a mile, he defeated with a score of 9.86 seconds.
Until now, the laurels of the fastest electric car in the world, showed himself dregovoy distance, owned Datsun White Zombi (10,25 seconds).
As for Enfield 8000 (which, by the way, off the speedometer), the owner admitted that he just really wanted to build a «British electric hot-rod» and a sense that he is now experiencing stronger than any other, that he had experienced for 15 years of testing sports cars.
