Muscle car will be built on a new rear-wheel drive Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Group platform, which is used in a sedan Alfa Romeo Giulia. According to the Automobile publication, under the hood of new items will house 760-hp engine.
Recall that the current Challenger Hellcat equipped with a 6.2-liter «eight» with the drive capacity of 717 hp Supercharged and 881 Nm. On the acceleration to 96 km / h it will require 3.5 seconds and top speed — 320 km / h.
In addition to this news, in 2019 is expected to release an open sports car Barracuda (under that name in the «60s and» 70s Plymouth produced coupes and convertibles). The car will be built on the basis of Challenger.
