Toyota has patented the design of a flying car. On this occasion, the project ovoid «air car» appeared available on the website FreePatentsOnline.com.
It is curious that the wings do not develop along the body, and are removed in a special compartment in the rear. In addition, due to the height-adjustable racks, fuselage form can change (within reason).
This is not the first patent for a flying Toyota. In September last year the company has patented multilevel folding wing, which is located on the roof of the car. Moreover, both structures are not in favor of the machine dimensions.
But «fly hunting» not only Toyota. Recall that two years ago came the third generation AeroMobil model, and in 2015 the US Terrafugia presented its second prototype TF-X.
As for the «air car» with a propeller, that Toyota has not said when it will begin testing.
