In the race of the year — by the way, the 14th in a row — was attended by 29 pilots in five Russian regions: Moscow and Rostov regions, Krasnodar and Stavropol Territory, and the Republic of Crimea. We watch the battle-tractor drivers 40 thousand spectators — as does not collect any other Russian race!
Specifications are free enough — in essence the following limitations: for racing allowed «Belarus» tractors with engine capacity up to five liters. They must be equipped with a special frame, seat belts and standard tires. And it's all…
During the race at the landfill site participants, eight different configurations have been proposed routes — from simple to more complex. Each new job is «knocked» from the list of one rider after the other and as a result there are only four — the two fought a duel for third and fourth place, and two others shared first and second places.
When laying the track this year the organizers have to use a full ramp — flying tractor looks no less strange than a flying saucer. Tractor driver has a hard time — in their «war horses» no suspension and hit the ground on landing compensated only the driver's seat, which has its own shock absorbers.
By tradition, in between races, the organizers have prepared a lot of surprises for the audience.
Three times on the track «Bison-Track-Show» visited the participants of «Race to the bottom» — behind the wheel of one of the cars appeared on the Russian Rally Champion Eugene Sukhovenko and that he was the winner of the races. And we ended the «race» battle cars and tractors — with a crushing score won the past.
But entertainment is not limited thereto. Show Red Bull riders, demonstration runs of modern military equipment, the tug of war between the tractor and a group of spectators — all this and much more has also helped to fill a pause in between races, when a judge promptly changed the configuration of the track.
The winner of the «Bison-Track-Show» this year for the second time in succession became Ali Akhmetov. He, as well as the second medalist Alexander Grechkin as prizes went to brand new tractors «Belarus». He closed the top three winners Nikolai Wascana. All three riders were Rostov region.
The following year, «Bison-Track-Show» will celebrate its anniversary — the race will be held in 15 times. Organizers promise to cook something special and there is no doubt that they will fulfill their promise.
