Electric car Grimsel, on which students worked ETH Zurich and Lucerne University, managed to overcome the first hundred of the 1,513 seconds only at a distance of 30.5 meters. Check in was on the runway air base in Dübendorf.
Swiss students walked thus to 0.266 seconds of his German colleagues from the University of Stuttgart, fixed the record of last year.
