In that year, he returned to Moscow, I bitterly looked at the efforts of several clubs to spend a classic rally, which came on the strength of two dozen cars, and I think that in Russia for such an event must pass at least fifty years.
And it's good that I was wrong.
Because in the summer of 2016 the first stage of Moscow Classic Grand Prix, organized by «old time» and personally Alexander Smirnov, gathered a hundred and fifty classic cars, including most of the part in competition «Sport» (this race with a mass start), well, and those who started in the time attack, said that in their plans is also included to prepare the car for teh.trebovaniyam «sport».
It was intended that MCGP managed to hold on to Moscow Raceway in one weekend with the Russian stage of the World Touring, and the audience, inspired by the double victory of Lada, back on the road the next day to look at the classics. And it has paid off.

And it is very important that motorsport united with each other and the former Soviet republics, and in late July of this year, several dozens of Russian athletes will travel to Latvia to step Friendship Cup, which will take place at the famous track in Biķernieki. But before that, on July 4 at the Moscow Raceway will take place on the 2nd stage of Moscow Classic Grand Prix.
