Within three months of «charged» but all the same serial Civic Type R has set records on the «Silverstone» track in the UK, at Spa in Belgium and Monza in Italy, Estoril in Portugal and the Hungaroring in Hungary.
Cars piloted Rob Huff and Norbert Mitselis (factory drivers in the WTCC World Touring Championship), the Honda rider in the British BTCC Turinge Matt Neal, as well as the pace car driver in the WTCC and Formula-E Bruno Correia.
