The optional package Polestar Performance Optimization, developed on the basis of race technologies, aimed at is to ensure an increase in the dynamics of the sedan S90 and V90 wagon.
Details were not disclosed, but, presumably, in the Polestar seriously worked on a software engine and transmission software. New software added power (gain 5 horsepower), aggravated responses to the accelerator pedal and optimized gear changes.
The optional package has been certified and meets the exacting environmental standards.
The package is intended only for machines with a 235-hp 2-liter turbo diesel D5 and reduces the acceleration time to hundreds of 0.1 seconds (6.9 seconds for the S90 and 7.0 seconds for the V90).
According to tradition, a tuning package was prepared with the participation of the racing team of the Swedish manufacturer.
