The first copies of hypercar Chiron owners will receive in the fall. In the meantime, the journalist edition Car Throttle Alex Kersten honored to be the first passenger of hypercar Bugatti Chiron on the «Nordschleife» Nurburgring. Hire it does not test driver and brand leader Wolfgang Dyurhaymer.
Hypercar is equipped with a 1500-strong 8-liter turbo W16, aggregated with seven-step «robot» with two clutches. The first hundred hypercar overcomes in 2.5 seconds, two hundred — in 6.5 seconds, three — for 13.6 seconds. The maximum speed is limited to 385 kilometers per hour (at time Top Speed - 420).
Wolfgang Dyurhaymer promised that the 2018 Bugatti will check in the presence of representatives of the Guinness Book of Records to set a maximum speed of Chiron (until the laurels of the fastest production car belong to the American hypercar Hennessey Venom GT: coupé developed skrost to 435 kilometers per hour, and the Roadster — 427 3).
