The US received another patent for the generation of artificial engine sound. Again distinguished craftsmen company Ford: the sound will simulate the additional cylinders in the engine. This effect should please the owners of low-power machines that do not give away their liter EcoBoost sound «row» sixes.
In addition, according to the developers of the Ford, drivers will change gear at lower revs, as the sound of the machine will be felt more powerful and «get the most» want less. Thus, it will be able to save fuel. The company also believes that this decision will be disciplined drivers and make driving safer.

When this system will be introduced in series production it is not yet clear. So far satisfied with the already developed audio system, which also changes the sound of the engine. For example, it is installed on the Ford Mustang with the 2.3-liter EcoBoost.
