Gordon Murray, known for the construction of McLaren F1 supercar, presented his new project — Shell Concept Car minicar with replaceable body panels.
As for Murray, they designed the chassis and bodywork for iStream proprietary technology, fairly flavored with carbon fiber elements, whereby the drag coefficient decreased from 0.37 to 0.29.
iStream technology allows producers to change the size of the platform and to carry out a restyling, but replacing body panels. In particular, it is going to use the 2017 Yamaha.
The engine (in basis — 660 cc 3-cylinder from Smart) was run by Geo Technology, which manages the former Honda Motor in the «Formula 1» Osamu Goto. Both — and Murray, and Goto — worked together in the McLaren team at the end of the eighties.
