Finally, we have more details on the boosted VW Scirocco. The premiere apparently turned to be faster than the Porsche Boxster.
Facelifted hot Scirocco will be available for sale in Europe this August. Under the bonnet, it still carries a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine; however, its power was lifted by 15 hp and now it delivers 280 hp. Therefore, it has become the most powerful car in its lineup, as it takes the DSG-equipped car only 5.5 seconds to accelerate to 100 km/h.
An interesting fact is that both the Porsche Boxster and the Cayman are 0.3–0.2 seconds slower when sprinting to 100 km/h.
