PUDRA. The fastest race in the history of class Pro Nitrous

In parallel with the third stage of the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, held in Gainesville, kicked off the regular season PDRA (Professional Drag Racers Association).
PDRA is currently one of the leading associations, specializing in racing on the 1/8 mile, instead of all the usual Quarter and the main battle between the pilots Pro Mod dregster rattle was at the event, held under its auspices. And the first stage was a clear confirmation of the fact that during the long off-season time, the team has not lost in vain and does work to increase the impact of their cars.
Already in qualifying was held the fastest in the history of class Pro Nitrous race in which clashed Tommy Franklin and Steve Jackson. Both drivers crossed the finish line at speeds over 203 mph, but Franklin did it to one hundredth of a second faster, and with the result of 3.686 @ 203 mph completed the qualifying session at the first position. At the moment the official record is 3.701, and before that only one rider — Pat Photo — could overcome the 3.7-second barrier.

The toe was gorgeous and the weather was on our side. We have achieved this result on a completely standard settings, simply everything went well for us way. Many riders not only in our division were able to significantly improve their performance compared with last year, so we can say with certainty that it will be hot, hell...
Tommy Franklin:
At the end of the event at Osage Casino Tusla Raceway, Tommy took home this season established rolling trophy Flatout Gaskets Nitrous Wars Trophy, which is awarded for the first place in qualifying. Is Franklin can keep it after the next Event, or the balloon will go to one of his opponents — will know in April.
As a little help is worth noting that the class Pro Nitrous fireballs fly 660 feet in less than four seconds thanks shestnadtsatilitrovym classic V8 under the hood, equipped with multi-stage nitrous oxide injection system.
