Apollo Automobil GmbH, which is a successor of the Gumpert, sold to the Chinese holding company, will present at the Geneva Motor Show its first model.
Details were not disclosed, but the most important representative of the company has already announced: ApolloN promises to be «the fastest road car in the world.»
Recall that in the years 2005–2013 produced Gumpert Apollo Coupe. Apollo Enraged version is equipped with a 4.2-liter twin-turbo «eight», capable to develop 780 hp and 900 Nm of torque and overcome the first hundred in 2.9 seconds. With regard to the maximum speed, it is limited to 330 kilometers per hour.
Obviously, the same experts are now and have worked on hypercar ApolloN. Apparently, in his design of carbon composites are widely used, which in themselves hint at the potential of high-speed trends.
