According to Autocar, with reference to insider sources within the Bavarian company, the official presentation of the new flagship coupe BMW 8-Series — the question of the near future.
More precisely, the concept will appear in 2018, but the production version — not before 2020.
At the moment the project is under development. The companies are considering options for a two-door and four-door coupe. Also, do not rule out the version of the convertible bond issue.
The company is confident that this flagship coupe very good prospects, because the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe and Bentley Continental GT in demand, especially in the US and China. And in relation to the German mark and the known financial indicators: on the S-Class Coupe Mercedes-Benz earned about 1 billion euros.
