Company Chevrolet has released a track version of the new-generation Camaro, which debuted in May 2015. Such equipment is not new, it is available since 1998, but only for the V8 engine. And now — V6.
There are for those who want a bonus in the form of the fuel system and the «sport» suspension (all from SS), as well as additional cooling for the engine and transmission, 4-piston Brembo brakes front, a mechanical limited-slip differential with a modified gear ratio of the main pair, and, of course,, 20-inch wheels shod in dimension 245/40 front tires and 275/35 rear.
As for the version of the SS, here an impressive set: the suspension Magnetic Ride, magnetorheological adjustable shock absorbers, electronic limited-slip differential, 6-piston front brakes the Brembo, 20-inch wheels with tires in the dimension 285/30 front and 305/30 rear. In addition, as in the LT version, there is proposed a special exhaust system, additional cooling of the engine and gearbox.
1LE package is intended LT and SS versions with 6-step «mechanics» with a shorter swing arm. Dynamic performance is not specified. We only know that the regular version of the coupe with the V6 and the «mechanics» overcomes hundred hundred in 5.2 seconds, and with the V8 — in 4.3 seconds. With an 8-step «automatic» — 5,1 and 4 seconds, respectively.
