No more Laurel Wreaths for Cadillac

Finally, the facelifted version of the Cadillac ATS with laurel wreaths removed from its redesigned logo has been revealed.

Finally, the facelifted version of the Cadillac ATS with laurel wreaths removed from its redesigned logo has been revealed.

Updating does not always mean changing. In some cases, it’s all only about shaking the air. That’s what happened to the ATS sedan. The engine remained untouched; it is still either a 2.5-litre naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine delivering 205 hp, or a 2.0-litre 276-hp turbocharged four-cylinder engine, or a 3.6-litre 325-hp V6.

However, there are some changes in the interior design. The car now features an upgraded infotainment CUE system with Siri Eyes Free voice recognition system and other useful options. Wireless phone charging Cadillac DockSpot system comes as an option.

So the question is: what about upgrades? Apart from the new logo, the car now features a different radiator grille and new body colour schemes: Crystal White Tricoat and Dark Adriatic Blue Metallic.

Perhaps, those were the laurels bothering Cadillac the most, as no other major changes have been introduced…
