An unidentified Porsche was caught driving around the Nürburgring. Most probably, the company started tests of the future Cayman GT4.
Spy photos were revealed by the Car magazine. The all-new vehicle will be unveiled in 2015, however, there are several details available by now. The premiere was previously reported to be fitted with a PDK gearbox also used in track-focused Cayman GT3. The GT4 is expected to carry a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine delivering 450 hp.
Cayman will also feature several exterior changes. Its massive spoiler and large air intakes catch the eye. It will be equipped with light-alloy wheels with powerful brakes and double exhaust pipes mounted in the centre. Suspension will be readjusted.
