The company plans to build a small roadster to replace the MG TF sports car. The most important thing for MG engineers is to work without ruffle.
Right now they are working on building two new platforms, with one of them intended for front-engined rear-wheel drive sports cars. Apart from creating a roadster, MG plan to build a compact SUV to pit against Juke, and a C-segment hatchback to win over the hearts of Ford Focus fans.
What concerns the roadster, it should become MG’s ideological successor, however, it might need another five years to absorb all the very best ideas.
