The American company Steve Morris Engine video released with the trials of 5000-horsepower engine for the Arab hypercar Devel Sixteen.

The development of the engine was carried out by engineers Steve Morris Engine for two years. The company argued that it is «the first and only in the history of serial 16-cylinder V-shaped unit with four turbines,» not to mention the fact that it is «the world's most powerful engine, designed for machines of heading.»

12.3-liter V16 is equipped with four 81-mm turbos and 32 titanium valves. Measurements showed dynamometer 4515 HP and 4766 Nm of torque at 6600 rpm. It might be more, but the dyno is not designed for such figures. As for the «everyday settings,» they are equal to 3002 hp and 3260 Nm of torque.

The engine has a purpose: it is intended to hypercar Devel Sixteen, which was presented at the Motor Show in Dubai in 2013 and is reported to be already at that time could reach a maximum speed of 560 kilometers per hour. So if nneshnemu project Devel Sixteen be fulfilled, it will be the most powerful — and perhaps the fastest — production car in the world. The premiere is scheduled for serial hypercar motor show in Dubai in November 2017.
