German tuning company Carlsson gets support from Asia

The bankrupt German tuning house Carlsson bought a South Korean manufacturer of auto parts Sambo Motors.

The transaction between the bankrupt German tuning house Carlsson and South Korean auto manufacturer Sambo Motors enters its legal force on 4 December.

Cost Carlsson — the second largest circulation independent tuners Mercedes-Benz — were not disclosed. But income Sambo Motors is known for the past year — a billion dollars.

Preference was given to the buyer against other 250 candidates interested in the acquisition of Carlsson (among them were foreign and German companies).
Recall bankruptcy petition filed in court on April 28 was due to disagreements with the principal shareholder of China, which has stopped any financial support.

The administrator Robert Shibe, who spent a deal with South Korean partner Sambo Motors has agreed with the preservation of all jobs Carlsson. Moreover, during the negotiations it was implemented bankrupt Carlsson tuning project based on the Mercedes-Benz C-Class for the autumn Frankfurt Motor Show.
