Every year around the «Formula 1» more talk about the fact that the race became a contest of taxi drivers. Well, for all the suffering decided to show what a fully automatic pilots with predefined settings — Roborace. In 2017 in the championship, «Formula E» will be attended by unmanned electric cars.
Roborace includes a two races in two hours prior to arrival of electric cars with these pilots. Results will be announced ten teams from each of them — two cars. By the way, the creation of one of the teams will collect money via crowdfunding.
All the cars should be the same, allowed only one difference, which is the software (fuel supply, shifting, handling and braking).
All this will be carried out under the auspices of the FIA, so that the autopilot can give out cups, which apparently will take engineers.
Well, the last. One of the creators of the series was the former Deputy Minister of Communications and founder of the Russian company Yota Denis Sverdlov.
