Representation of Ferrari in Northern Europe will hold a charity auction for the Henry Surtees Foundation, where at stake is the license plate number for the supercar La Ferrari.
With the hammer start up registration plate V12 LAF, which will suit the Italian model — the letters stand for the name of La Ferrari, V12 represents a 800-horsepower gasoline V12, which, together with the 163-strong KERS is part of a hybrid powerplant machine.
The proceeds of the license plate means, the owner of which will be known after November 30 will go to the charity fund Henry Surtees Foundation. The organization was founded by the champion of «Formula 1» in 1964 as part of John Surtees Ferrari in memory of his son Henry Surtees, who died in a race, «Formula 2» because of the head injury.
