For some buying Oldtimer — only a temporary investment of money in the hope to get a tidy sum from the resale, for others — a cherished dream and a joy to be hidden in the garage.
Mercedes-Benz Museum has decided to help those seeking to buy cars without intermediaries, but not all the exhibits will be on display for sale.
Selling cars were divided into three categories. Premium Edition includes cars in original condition and restored masters of Mercedes-Benz. Collectors Edition — is perfectly preserved rare models. Drivers Edition — cars that can get up to the house on their own, but still have some demand recovery.
Currently for sale put racing coupe AMG CLK-LM 1998 release (price on request) and Convertible 630 Kompressor 1929 with a price tag of 850,000 euros. Both cars are a group Premium Edition.
In addition to the above, sedans offered 450 SEL 1979 onwards, 280 SE 1973 onwards, E-Class E60 AMG 1994 onwards, and the SL-Class Coupe 1992 onwards Presale preparation are 230 CE 1982 onwards 200 D sedan 1992 onwards, but they belong to the category Drivers Edition.
