Alfa Romeo 4C coupé has just hit the market and the company’s CEO Harald Wester said that they are planning to make it even more powerful. Right now Alfa Romeo 4C is fitted with a 1.7-litre turbocharged engine delivering 240 hp. It sprints to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.
“We are only at 136 horsepower per litre, so there is space”, said Harald Wester in his interview to Car&Driver magazine. Wester noted that both the drivetrain and suspension would be able to handle additional power. The only adjustment would be the brakes.
