Text below the image says that the premiere of the next supercar — the fruit of «units M» — will take place in October. Worldcarfans believes that it is a coupe BMW M2, which fans of the brand already rather tired of waiting, and which should be the most compact in the M-line.
According to insider information, the coupe will provide a 3-liter 6-cylinder turbo engine capable of delivering 370 hp and 500 Nm of torque with a 6-step «mechanics» or 7-band «robot». If it does so, the first hundred of the novelty will be overcome in less than 4.5 seconds.
Color excesses are not expected to — black, white, gray and blue. The interior will be even more restrained than the exterior: no options, black leather with blue stitching. And there are no options with wheels — 19-inch only and exclusively black.
Customize the interior of the sports car will be carbon fiber plates, navigation system, rearview camera, adaptive optics, acoustics HarmanKardon and the access point to the Internet.
In showrooms BMW M2 will arrive no earlier than Christmas, but the price tag will begin no less than from 54 000 euros.
