Motor Trend published the fifth annual edition of «the world's greatest drag racing» and presented 10 supercars, claim to be the fastest car on quarter.
The most numerous detachment started of General Motors and Volkswagen. Under the name plate of the first — supercar Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Cadillac CTS-V and the ATS-V, under the banner of the second — Bentley Continental GT3-R, Volkswagen Golf R and the Porsche Cayman GT4. There were, of course, and without Mercedes — AMG GT S and C 63 AMG S, and without the Mazda MX-5 and the Lexus RC F.
But it was at the start. At the finish of applicants markedly diminished: one car from General Motors, Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz. The winner revealed on the last cut-off of 11.4 seconds at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour.
