British firm Prodrive is known worldwide for its sports cars, but to work with the Japanese Subaru brand company began in 1997, when was built the first Impreza for the world championship on classical rally WRC.
That this machine at the time ran the legendary Scottish rally driver Colin McRae, and then under the chassis number 001 acted in the Italian championship rally and racing in Ireland.
The unique Subaru Impreza in due time bought a collector, but in Prodrive had a full restoration of the machine for which is now calculated to help out at the auction of 175–200 thousand pounds.
