Apparently, the debut of the production version of new items will be held in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show — this will be the first ever S-Class convertible, which is run in the tests in the «charged» version of the AMG S63.
It is reported that the top version will get 577-hp 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8, and also in the range will include 449-horsepower 4.6-liter V8 in the S500 Cabriolet and the 621-horsepower 6.0-liter V12 in the S65 AMG. The drive will be at the rear, and complete.
It is known that the model will receive a soft convertible top, and the rest of the technical details will be revealed closer to the debut model.
