Sports car manufacturing company Automobili Turismo e Sport, which has recently risen from the ashes, unveiled an updated version of its Sport 1000 track-only car. Apart from losing 45 kg, it has also lost the “1000” from its name, providing the sports car with 100 updates instead.

This car is meant for track use only. Though it might sound rather strange, an ATS can be purchased without an engine so that the customer could equip it with anything he or she desires. Alternatively, clients can opt for a ready-to-drive variant fitted with either 1.3, 1.4 or 1.6 four-cylinder engines, delivering 185, 325 and 255 hp respectively. The fastest of them allows accelerating to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and provides top speed of 250 km/h.

It is fitted with six-piston callipers, adjustable Ohlins dampers, removable steering wheel, and burst-proof fuel tank. As reported by motor.ru, the ATS Sport comes with new aerodynamically efficient body panels, while the standard version is equipped with an adjustable pedal box, a Quaife limited-slip differential, Avon tyres, and carbon fibre Tillett bucket seats. New chassis fitted with a roll cage is made from Chromo Molybdenum steel, saving off 45 kg.

There are plenty of additional options including carbon fibre body, more powerful brakes, centre lock wheels, xenon headlights, paddle shift kit, and AIM data logging kit.

The sports car can withstand cornering forces up to 3g so the rest depends on the driving skills of the pilot. Pricing starts at €33,000 without an engine and €48,800 with.
