The Italian police officers have been able to use a Lamborghini Gallardo supercar in their hard work formerly. But time zips along and the VW auto group decided that the model was out of date and donated a Huracan to the Italian police forces.
So here comes the reinforcement for the Italian carabinieri. The Huracan LP610–4 is fitted with a 5.2-litre 10-cylinder engine delivering 602 hp. In spite of its potential, it is unlikely that the supercar is going to chase the violators, though it will be equipped with a special set of police lights, a police radio, video-recording system, and colour scheme of the police establishment. There is a gun compartment inside the cabin, a defibrillator, and a refrigerator meant for fast delivery of organs for transplantation.
The first Lamborghini supercar has already been handed to the Italian polizia by the company’s CEO Stephan Winkelmann. It’s important not to scratch the bumper of the Huracan when the car is on mission. However, if car repairs are part of this generous gift, the supercar can be easily used for police daily service.
