Bentley has produced a limited edition of Mulsanne sedan to celebrate the company’s 95th anniversary. Nothing new will be found under the supercar’s bonnet. As if there was any need in upgrades… The standard version is fitted with 6.75-litre petrol-powered V8 engine delivering 512 hp and 1,020 Nm of torque. It is coupled with 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. Mulsanne sprints to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds.
So what’s new in the limited edition? First of all, the cars will be offered in three bespoke colours borrowed from the flag of Great Britain — blue, red, and white. Secondly, they will have 21-inch light-alloy disks. Thirdly, no matter how strange it might seem, they will get a dark tint finish on the bonnet logo.
Fourthly, it’s about the interior. Inside the customers will find white leather upholstery with red contrast stitching. Illuminated doorsill plates feature the words “Ninety Five”. Apart from that, there will be another exclusive element. In 2007, the hurricane damaged many trees that stood near Fulbeck Hall in Lincolnshire. Those walnut trees some 300 to 400 years old were used for wooden elements in Bentley’s interior.
The price of the standard version of the sedan starts at €248,400 but no pricing details of the Mulsanne 95 have been announced yet. However, all 15 of them are reserved for the British market.
